Research and Planning, Other Useful Blogger Information, Task One

After looking at two videos on getting started on Blogger I decided to take a close look at other sites that have information about Blogger. One of the key things about having a blog is knowing how to use it to its full potential!


http://www.slideshare.net/Marcus9000/how-to-use-blogger - This particular website is very useful, it's directed at Teachers. Even though it says for teachers it contains some key information about using Blogger, it has tutorials on making posts, editing, HTML and other more complex options.


http://www.wikieducator.org/How_to_use_Blogger - Here is the link to the wikipedia page giving information on Blogger and how to use it. It also contains a photograph of a 'Blogger in cammino' which I have added in below! Wikipedia is a well known and globally used website containing information and is usually generally reliable, however its good to keep caution when reading from a wikipedia as anyone can edit the posts!

http://www.blogger.com/features - Is easily the best site to use as it is Blogger! It gives you a list of different 'how to guides' each with there own accompanying icon. As it is directly from Blogger you will know you are getting genuine help and not a potential misleading response written by any old blogger on the internet.

Possibly one of the best places you can find a video tutorial is www.youtube.com. This video was a great help to setting up a brand new account on Blogger, I thought it useful to include because if anyone who is inspired by an account on here there is a readily accessible video to demonstrate how.

Looking through my Media course pack there were a number of useful links to videos on www.youtube.com I particually liked this one as it demonstrates how to start up a Blogger and start posting. It helped me gain a better understanding of the Blogger site.

After setting up an account with blogger my task was to research information into how to get the best out of using a Blogger blog. Here is what I have found:

Blogger offers a range of different tools such as imputing different multimedia, such as videos direct from www.youtube.com. I have linked several useful videos in the next posts on here to demonstrate.

Blogger makes blogging easy, fun and personal with its simple editing tools to create different coloured layouts for blogs with your own chosen images. I spent a while exploring the possibilities and have included this screen shot to demonstrate:

- How I think Blogger will be useful for my coursework

Blogger will come in handy for my Media course due to its easy accessibility in college and at home. It helps me to form a regular routine with posting work and making sure it is all completed and presented in a correct fashion. Going back to presentation Blogger gives a range of tools to include all the information you need when posting a piece of work.www.youtube.com
